Decorated storage jars. Tops made with polymer clay.
Upcycled jars. I saw similar jars on a website, but the tops were made from paper. I loved the look and decided to see what I could do using polymer clay. I started with a form of Ultralight Sculpey and baked it. I mixed clay colors with translucent clay, then extruded lengths of colors. Once I started winding the strands around the baked Ultralight, I hardly knew when to stop! These colorful storage jars would look great in the kitchen or a teen’s room or maybe a crafty studio. These are my entry for Crafting with the Stars Challenge.
